Greg Maddux
Greg Maddux is the best pitcher of the decade. He has won 4 Cy Young Awards, all in a row. He was 1 hit batter away from having a Perfect Game. He has never had a Perfect Game, even though he is Perfect. His slider kind of "slides" off of the batters bat so they cannot hit the ball. Teammate Tom Glavine charts his pitches when he pitches and said that so rarely does he throw a home run ball, that when he does throw it the batters don't swing as if surprised. He has also been known for throwing a pitch in the same spot 9 or 10 times out of 10 tries. He really looks like he is having fun on the mound. I hope he gets a ton of Cy Youngs in his incredible years to come.
